"HAZY WATERS… ONE OF THE HOTTEST BANDS ON THE KEXP RIGHT NOW"

- JOHN RICHARDS, THE MORNING SHOW

ALTERNATIVE ROCK TRIO | BASED IN LONDON, UK

At the core of hazy waters is OVER A decade-long FRIENDSHIP between vocalist and visual artist Agness and producer Aleks, who first began collaborating as teenagers in Poland. Their longstanding connection allows for a uniquely honest and instinctive songwriting process, one that thrives on vulnerability and experimentation. Completing the trio is Simon, whose musical roots in Spanish classical conservatories eventually gave way to a fascination with synthesisers, sonic manipulation, and electronic rebellion.

While their 2025 debut EP, “Watch Out For Deep Waters”, established their signature blend of dreamy, reverb-soaked atmospheres and raw alternative intensity, their newest releases see the project stepping into bolder territory. Intentionally more playful, immediate, and daring with its genre-bending, this new direction has helped the band carve out a distinct space in the UK music scene. This momentum is perfectly captured in their June 2026 single, "High," which earned features across several media outlets, most notably Clash Magazine:

“Drawing parallels between Wolf Alice, Wet Leg and Radiohead, the outfit fashion their own fantasy, pin-dropping its crowd into a whirlwind, escapist romance.”

- CLASH MAGAZINE

Their follow-up single, "Blue," caught the attention of KEXP’s John Richards, who debuted the track on The Morning Show with a rare back-to-back spin, declaring it, "So good we need to listen to it again... again, again, again!" Following its premiere, the song garnered support from multiple DJs and reached KEXP’s Weekly Top 10 list twice, charting alongside heavyweights like Fontaines D.C. and Alabama Shakes. Hazy Waters’ latest track, "Take Me Home," continued this momentum with a debut on KEXP’s The Midday Show with Cheryl Waters. The band is now gearing up for their next single, set for release on October 8, 2026.
